Queen Anne style side chair with yoke crest rail, vasiform splat, trapezoid seat, cabriole legs, H stretchers. Vasiform splat with canted rear edge, wide descending to filleted ogee, seated in molded shoe. Slip seat, tenoned rails. Replaced upholstery. Rear legs are a continuation of stiles. Cabriole legs, pad feet. Ogee knee brackets with slight point. H-formation stretcher, canted inwards to rear. Cross-stretcher with flat conical termini, no fillet, round turned to central bulbous section. Side stretchers turned and squared, tenoned to square back leg. Rear stretcher higher, mimics cross-stretcher but has incised ring flanking deeper ring at conical termini. "J LANGDON" stamped in back seat stile and front stretchers slip seat. VIII on top edge of front seat rail, seat lip, rear seat rail interior.
