Brief description

A canvaswork flamestitch or Irish stitch purse or pocketbook. The purse is bound with olive green wool tape with a twill pattern in the center and tabby borders. The purse is lined with glazed green wool calamanco in tabby weave. The initials "E.P." are worked in white silk on the underside of the flap.
