Brief description

An embroidered canvaswork purse or pocketbook of the folding type with two inner envelopes. The purse has all silk embroidery in a diamond pattern worked on canvas and then mounted on cardboard. The embroidery is in shades of pink, green, mustard, blue, and white with a black outline. Under flap, in cross stitch, is worked "Mary Bliss ae. 11." The purse is lined and bound with green China silk, with ties of same.
