Brief description

A canvaswork purse or pocketbook in the folded style with flamestitch or bargello embroidery on canvas. It is worked in shades of red, pink, purple, orange, yellow, green, blue, tan, and black. The purse is bound all around with pink wool twill tape. It has an orange wool tape tie. The purse is lined with pink wool calamanco. In the upper left corner of the inside cover are tan cross-stitch initials "H.C."
