Pieced pocket

Brief description

A woman's pieced pocket of printed cottons in triangles and rectangles on the front of pocket. The pocket is lined and backed with an unbleached handwoven linen. The ties are narrow white linen tapes. The cotton samples are both wood block and roller prints varying in date from 1790-1835.
