Brief description

Handspun and handwoven linen shift. Front and back identical. Short sleeves ungathered. Square gussets underarms. Plain rounded neck with initials MBS cross stitched at center front. No shoulder seam but shoulder line delineated by a row of back stitches. Skirt fullness created by addition of triangle gores which begun 21 inches above hem. 3/8" lower hem. Handsewn.
