Woman's plaid gown

Brief description

A woman's gown or dress in a cream background and green tan, yellow, and blue stripes/plaid in a tissue gingham fabric. The gown has a high waist and long shaped sleeves with a cuff at the wrist and with hook and eye fastening. The gown has a round neck. The neck and wrists have decorative petal points of self-material bound in green satin. A decorative band about 13 inches up from hem is made of same plaid material on the bias with scalloping at the top and points at the bottom, all bound in the same green satin. There is a back opening, also with hook and eye fastening. The gown bodice has a linen lining around the side seams, arm holes, and waistband as well as at the neck. . Green satin binding also around arm holes. The skirt is attached in unpressed pleats. The fabric width is 19". There us a satin binding along the hem.
